WGM Lawyers is pleased to welcome Anthony Seepish and Jimmy Virk to the firm as our articled students for 2011-2012. Anthony Seepish is a graduate of UBC Law School, and has previously attended U of Manitoba where he received a BA in Political Studies (First Class Honours) and an MA from SFU in Political Science (where he received a graduate fellowship). Anthony is a former editor of the UBC Law Review. Anthony claims at least some facility with the English, French, Mandarin, Japanese, Russian and Spanish languages. Anthony has also taught English overseas for a number of years. Jimmy Virk will begin his articles with our firm in September of 2011 following his expected graduation from the University of British Columbia law school in May of 2011. He previously graduated from the University of Victoria in 2004 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and a major in Communications where he was a straight "A" student, and the winner of numerous scholarships and awards. Jimmy is active in BC politics and is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
