The lawyers in our Immigration Department have chosen the field of Immigration Law as their preferred area of practice due to their personal experience with Canada's system of Immigration. Each member of our firm is subject to the strict rules of professional conduct laid down by the Law Society of British Columbia. Our lawyers have experience in dealing with the rules surrounding Permanent Residence, NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement), and GATS (General Agreement on Trade in Service).

Celso Boscariol is the partner overseeing the Immigration Department. Also contributing to this department is associate lawyers Darren Penner and Frances Butt. We draw upon our in-depth knowledge of the Canadian Immigration System to assist clients from all over the world to enter Canada as permanent residents, students and workers.

Because of our background and knowledge of the Canadian Immigration system, our success rate for permanent residence applications is very high. We do not entertain applications that in our view, clearly will not succeed.

In particular, the increasing demands of the Canadian labour market mandate the importance of skilled workers from foreign countries. We can assist employers through our knowledge of the methods by which foreign nationals can enter Canada to take employment.

Our lawyers have also successfully represented clients before all three tribunals of the Immigration and Refugee Board; particularly in Refugee Hearings, Immigration Inquiries, Detention Hearings, and Appeals.
